Actavis is supporting a series of initiatives in association with the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) specifically aimed at pharmacy technicians in recognition of their pivotal role in today’s pharmacy. We are proud sponsors of the NPA’s Accuracy in Dispensing Course designed to develop the role of the technicians in pharmacy.

To celebrate the vital contribution of technicians, Actavis is the first company to sponsor a programme of Pharmacy Technician Awards.

In order for pharmacy to deliver all aspects of the new pharmacy contracts to the highest standard, additional training and continuing development will be a requirement for pharmacists. From July we are sponsoring the NPA’s Business Management Course designed to help pharmacists embrace the new opportunities that the revised contract provides.
