Actavis is delighted to announce the arrival of BoB – Back office Briefings to the Actavis Academy Online. The Back office Briefings service is designed to take the pain out of HR and financial management issues in the pharmacy.

Exclusive to the Actavis Academy online and prepared by experts, BoBs consist of three parts:
- An online question designed to challenge users on an important issue in pharmacy management, followed by the publication of the recommended answer.
- Succinct downloadable briefing documents summarising HR and finance topics for busy pharmacy staff
- Innovative 'Ask BoB' service for users’ questions

Online survey
Users can answer a survey question that is designed to challenge them on important issues across pharmacy management. Within a week of answering the question, Actavis HR expert advisors post their official answers. Following this, a BoB briefing guide is posted on the site offering further advice and support to pharmacists on the relevant topic, helping them to make sound employee related decisions.

Briefing documents
BoB offer a wide range of interactive tutorials offering information and advice on topics including employee relations, pay and reward, tax efficiency, recruitment and retention and strategies for minimizing charges.

Ask BoB
The Ask BoB service enables pharmacists to ask ANY HR questions they may have and get free advice from the Actavis HR expert advisors.

Michael Cann, Director Generics at Actavis UK believes the arrival of BoB to the site will greatly support pharmacists through providing guidance on situations that otherwise could prove tricky to access.
