  Michael Cann BSc (Hons) MBA

  Commercial Director

  Michael was a professional cricketer before joining the pharmaceutical industry 12 years ago. Prior to joining Actavis UK in January 2005 Michael held senior positions in several branded pharmaceutical companies, including Napp Laboratories and Schwarz Pharma before joining Abbey National Payments where he headed up the sales and marketing division. Michael has an MBA from Warwick Business School and is now Vice Chairman of the Economics and Reimbursement Group of the British Generic Manufacturers Association.

  Peter Kelly

  National Sales Manager

  Peter joined Actavis in August 2005 and has nearly 10 years experience in Generics. His previous roles have been in Product Management in the UK and Europe and managing New Product Development. Peter is now responsible for the UK Retail and Dispensing Doctor sales team, who manage accounts in independent pharmacy, multiple pharmacy groups and dispensing doctors.

  Paul Reynolds

  National Channel Manager, Generics

  Paul is a highly experienced and successful pharmaceutical sales manager with extensive experience across all segments of the generics business including national and regional accounts, independent sector and dispensing doctor sectors. As a member of the Actavis commercial team, he has in depth knowledge of the commercial aspects of generics and the supply chain that supports the business. With over nine years generic sales management experience, Paul joined Actavis in 2006 and is currently managing National Accounts with vertically integrated retail and wholesale businesses.

  Brice Easdown

  National Channel Manager, Generics

  Brice has over 15 years of generics sales experience across all sectors of the industry. With extensive commercial acumen supported by formal business studies qualifications, he is a member of the Actavis commercial team. Brice has experience of all retail segments, national accounts, shortline and full line distribution as well as in managing retail and dispensing doctor teams. He joined Actavis in 2004 and currently manages National Accounts with vertically integrated retail and wholesale businesses.

  Tony Keen

  Key Account Manager, Generics, South of England

  Tony is a highly experience generics sales and key account professional with particular knowledge of pharmaceutical wholesale distribution – both full line and shortline. He has been with Actavis for fourteen years where he has worked within both retail and wholesale sales. Tony is responsible for managing a range of shortline and regional multiple customers.

  Billy Blackie

  National Channel Manager, Generics

  With a background in immunology and a Diploma in Life Sciences, Billy has over twelve years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with both brand and generics companies. He has worked as commercial manager for a branded pharmaceutical company where he developed his experience in strategic relationship account management. Billy joined Actavis in November 2004 and his current responsibilities include Scottish distribution and key account management.

  Tina Harrington

  Key Account Manager, Generics

  Tina is a successful experienced sales professional with extensive OTC and generics experience across a variety of customer segments including independent retail pharmacy, shortline and regional full line reseller markets. She joined Actavis four years ago and now manages a range of multiple pharmacy groups and shortline wholesalers. Tina has an in depth knowledge of the co-operative market.

  Michelle McAuley

  Key Account Manager, Generics, Northern Ireland

  Michelle is a successful and experienced Northern Ireland sales professional with over ten years experience in the Northern Ireland Pharmacy market. She has extensive experience of OTC brands and has developed her career into the generics sector of the pharmacy market. Michelle joined Actavis in 2006 as part of the salesforce expansion into the independent pharmacy sector.

  Neil Davis

  Key Account Manager, Generics, North of England

  Neil is an experienced sales professional with in depth customer knowledge and experience of pharmacy from a number of sectors including generics, brands, PI’s and shortline distribution. He has highly developed customer relations and has been with Actavis since 2004. Neil currently manages a range of customers including independent pharmacy, pharmacy multiples and buying groups.

  Key Account Executive, Generics, Northern England

  Colin is an experienced sales professional with a blue chip background, having moved into the generics business with Actavis in 2004. He brings sales experience from a variety of industry sectors including brewing and confectionary.

  Alistair Bell

  Key Account Executive, Generics, South West

  Alistair has a proven track record in healthcare sales and joined the Actavis UK Retail Team in April 2007. Alistair is an experienced account handler having worked for both Branded and Generic pharmaceutical companies in previous roles. Alistair also has a BA (Hons) in Human Geography and Rural Planning.

  Mustafa is an experienced sales professional who joined Actavis in April 2007. He has extensive experience of the Branded Pharmaceutical Industry, Generics and Wholesale Distribution as well as a 'blue chip' background in sales. He joined Actavis to become part of the UK retail team and currently manages independent and multiple pharmacy groups.

  Dispensing Account Executive, Generics, West Midlands

  Corinne is a successful sales professional, having entered the generics industry two years ago with responsibilities for the pharmacy sector. She joined Actavis in July 2006 as part of the move into the dispensing doctor segment.

  Umesh Jani

  Dispensing Account Executive, Generics, East Midlands

  Umesh has worked in the dispensing doctor market for over 20 years with a variety of generics companies including large manufacturers and shortline wholesalers. He joined Actavis in July 2006 as part of its move into the dispensing doctor market and is responsible for the East Midlands territory.

  Dispensing Account Executive, Generics, Norfolk & Suffolk

  James is an experienced sales professional having joined the industry over ten years ago. He has worked for both 'blue chip' and small companies in primary care, secondary care, and sales training. He has experience in medical products, branded pharmaceuticals, branded generics and generics. James has specialised in the dispensing doctor market place for the last 7 years in the Anglia region. He joined Actavis in October 2007 as a dispensing account executive responsible for accounts in Norfolk, Suffolk and North Essex. James also has a BSc(Hons) in Medical Biochemistry.

  Amar Shah

  Key Account Executive, Generics, East Anglia & North London

  Amar joined Actavis in May 2008 with over 4 years pharmaceutical sales experience. Amar has a proven track record in healthcare sales having worked within the branded pharmaceutical industry selling to primary and secondary healthcare markets. Amar has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and has also passed the CIM professional Diploma in Marketing. Amar is part of the retail sales team and manages independent and multiple pharmacy groups.

  Derek Brown

  National Account Manager Hospitals

  Derek joined Actavis in February 2008 and has almost 20 years pharmaceutical experience gained with large branded pharmaceutical companies and in the past 6 years in the generics industry. Derek's background includes being Commercial Director of a generic company, commercial and product management of brands and supply chain management across broad portfolios. Derek is now responsible for the Hospital Business Unit for the United Kingdom which includes management of both generic and branded products into the secondary care market.

  Clara Mann

  Generics Business Manager – South

  Clara joined Actavis in August 2008 and has 5 years pharmaceutical experience mainly gained in wholesaling where she managed the trade marketing department and a national sales team. Clara’s background includes key account management for FMCG brands and pharmaceutical companies where she was responsible for devising and executing sales and marketing campaigns. Clara is now responsible for managing the sales team in the South. The team manage accounts in independent pharmacy, multiple pharmacy groups and dispensing doctors.

  Mark Harrison

  Key Account Executive, Generics, South and West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire

  Mark joined Actavis in August 2008 and has previous pharmaceutical experience gained in wholesaling working for Enterprise Pharmaceuticals where he was a business development manger working in the north east of England. Mark also gained previous sales experience working Magners cider in the brewing industry. Mark is now a Key Account Executive working in South and West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire dealing with independent pharmacy.

  Simon Johnson

  Key Account Executive, Generics, West Midlands

  Simon joined Actavis in January 2008 having worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for 7 years. Previously with AAH Pharmaceuticals and Cambrian Alliance, Simon brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Simon will be covering the West Midlands area managing accumulator and mid market accounts.

  Seb Woods

  Dispensing Account Executive, Generics, Essex & Cambridgeshire

  Seb joined Actavis in May 2008 to gain valuable experience and knowledge in the generics industry. He has over four years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven track record in both the dispensing doctor and hospital markets. He is currently studying for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Professional Diploma in Marketing, due to be completed in December 2008.

• Dan Conaghan

  Generics Business Manager, North

  Dan joined Actavis in January 2008 as our Portfolio Manager having after completing a full time MBA at Leeds University. He has 10 years of pharmaceutical and animal health experience in a variety of sales and marketing roles. These include primary and secondary care key account roles and sales team management at regional and national levels. Dan is responsible for managing the sales team in the North. The team manage accounts in independent pharmacy, multiple pharmacy groups and dispensing doctors.

  Louise Riley

  Dispensing Account Executive, Generics

  Louise joined Actavis in October 2007 having previously worked for a branded company selling urology products in primary and secondary care. Previous to that she left her banking career of 14 years to study for a degree in Biomedical Science and graduated in 2002.

  Gareth Hale

  Key Account Executive, Generics, North West

  Joining Actavis in April 2008, Gareth brings with him sales experience from the branded pharmaceutical industry. Having had success with growing sales in both primary and secondary care, Gareth is now responsible for independent and multiple retail pharmacy business in the North West.
